Created in Toonboom Studio v2 ----- CITRAPOP borrows from the following sources: "Lollipop" by Mika (Universal Music Group / Casablanca Records) "Citra" character designs/concept by Animation by me.
Well, first, this is done pose-to-pose, so the keys were all matched in size before the rest was animated.
Second, I tended to set the zoom to what my "comfortable" circle size was- so the head would always tend to stay the same size.
Finally, the headcircle was added to the animation all on its own. Following Richard Williams's advice of doing straight-ahead passes through the keyframes for each bodypart. Check the timelapse here: [link]
I dunno what makes it work, I guess I kinda imagined how much weight he's actually having to move, so he accelerates pretty fast, and actually drags the kid up, then back down, before the final toss, as he goes around. :3
How did you maintain a consistent head-size for White? Whenever I do frame by frame, the heads seem to warp.
